With easy road access, the temptation to explore the island's southeastern beaches, starting from the villa of Ano Mera, is great indeed. Elia beach, the largest of those beaches, is a case study in just how many different activities can be fitted onto one beach. The journey to the dark-blue waters at Kalo Livadi beach is just 10km from the old town (hora). This beach is ideal for relaxation or whatever else your heart desire. On the south east of the island lies Kalafatis beach, innately glamorous and poised to offer fun and games of all sorts in and out of the crystal clear blue waters. Although remote, lia beach is situated in the embrace of the charming bay. Make sure to hire a
private taxi mykonos because while you are on the beach it will be extremely hard to find one. Here pebbles mix with rough sand making this an idea spot for you to enjoy both sun and sea. The island's northern beaches add their own special golden glow to the pallet that is Mykonos. They include wildly beautiful Fokos beach, Agios Sostis beach which is great for exploring and Panormos and Ftelia beaches.
